Welcome!

My name is Chelsea Gulliver and I'm 17.

Among all the causes in the world, World Hunger is the one that I care about the most. Every minute of every day, 21 children die of malnutrition and preventable diseases. Food is a connection that brings us together regardless of our race, ethnicity, beliefs, or political views. We all eat and use food in our daily lives and for celebration. With this common factor in mind, I have started to collect recipes from influential people worldwide, hoping to demonstrate how alike we all really are.

With enough recipes, I will publish a cookbook and give all proceeds to the CARE World Hunger Campaign. My hope is when you cook with these recipes, you will think of the people who shape our lives, of those who are in need, and of the stupidity of wars and starvation.

I already have recipes and/or letters from Senator Obama, Former President Bush, Reverend Tutu, Nelson Mandela, Paula Deen, Governor Schwarzenegger, among many others.

If you know anyone influential such as a politician, artist, athlete, CEO, actor, singer, etc. could you please get  a recipe of their favorite food and send it on. It would be greatly appreciated. My email is bwicseagull@comcast.net, or send a hard copy to the address below.

Together we can help.
Love,
Chelsea
